| 08/02/2020 | The Happy Path | At every Pathfinder gathering there is usually a reciting of the Pathfinder Pledge and Law and as classes begin for the new Pathfinder year the pledge and law are studied and reviewed as their meaning becomes lost through constant repetition at every club meeting. Finding ways to convey their meaning can be done, and The Happy Path through narrative and story telling is one medium in which their application can be grasped by the young Pathfinder. I have included images for just the Pathfinder Pledge, as a picture can tell a thousand words. Try to imagine and think of other ways the pledge and law can be experienced for example a video clip from YouTube you may have browsed through or perhaps a film scene – Schindlers List is a powerful one. For the more adventurous a drama or skit of the pledge and law. |
